VICE.COM Launch Party

Our friends at Vice threw the MUTHA of all parties to celebrate the launch of their new site vice.com (they’ve finally bought the name off of a porn site after waiting for like 15 years…) In a car park in the back streets of Shoreditch, we saw Tom Vek (!!!!!!!!!) play a live set, as well as Factory Floor and Ice Age. We also were treated to quite the display by two peeps rubbed up against a wall – pics below. We took some on one of those fancy “vintage cameras.” Did we mention it was a free bar all night…

Make sure you check out their new site www.vice.com – they are a cut above the rest and can throw an effing good party too. Our heads…

Ba haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Bestival 2011

So, last Wednesday we packed 5 of us into a tiny fiesta and started our road trip to Bestival 2011 on the Isle of Wight.  We spent a night in the beautiful New Forest before heading to catch the early morning ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth.
This was my first time at Bestival and ooooh how it won’t be my last! Eventually set up camp in the mud and rain then headed to the arena to check it all out. The food was amazing - anything from your standards chips and burgers to roast chicken, philippene cuisine and italian meatballs!
In the main arena there are so many different stages and tents there is definitely something for everyone. From people dancing the jive, reggae acts and fake tattoo’s!
My Bestival mission was to check out all the fashionista beauties there and look who I stumbled upon ….

Absolute highlight of the weekend had to be The Cure’s two and a half hour set on Saturday night. Robert Smith – what a guy.
Bjork closed the festival sunday evening with tracks from her new ‘Biophilia’ album, Bestival then layed on an array of gorgeous fireworks which topped off an awsome weekend. All in all - a festival you HAVE to experience at least once!

Got some cool Bestival men to add to our fashionsta finds this week too …..
