I am the Marketing Manager – I look after all of 18 AND EAST’s content and branding - The website, our blog, photoshoots etc. I look after all of our social media and work with our PR agency to make sure we are getting great coverage in all the magazines! I’m all about the brand baby.

What are your favourite pieces from the collection:

What / where are your favourite places to go in East London?
I’m an East Londoner born and bred so I love it all! Broadway Market on a Saturday is a great place to people watch – there’s usually a great mix of models, “trendy wendys” and good ole Eastenders that have been working on the Market for donkeys years. I love the Commercial Tavern and The Scolt Head pubs, Spitalfields Market and to eat, Poppys Fish and Chips by Brick Lane. I love The Blitz Parties that are held every so often under some arches in Shoreditch. Everyone dresses up in 1940s dress and dances to a big band. Oh and Bleach London in Dalston to get your Dip Dye on!

I actually have 2 ipods (Geek!) At the moment I’m listening to The National, The Black Keys, Doris Day, The Faces and Crosby Stills and Nash.

Love the Belted Jersey Dress, the print is fresh and new and the shape accentuates the waist. Also I can't wait to get my hands on the knot print vest so I can tuck it into a cute mini skater skirt.

What / where are your favourite places to go in East London? I love shopping in the cool randomly placed boutiques off Brick Lane finished off with a refreshing and fruity cocktail at McQueen's.  As for favourite places to eat the lamb chops at Tayyabs are tasty tasty!!
What's on your ipod? A vast array of music that I've nicked off my brothers itunes as he's a DJ!..I am partial to a bit of funky/soulful house, old school RnB and reggae!!

Role at 18 AND EAST: Design Director

What are your favourite pieces from the collection:
I have 2 must-haves: firstly the Back Strap Dress - a vintage inspired silhouette created in an original 50's floral print. From the front it's a simple dress, but from the back the peek-a-boo straps drape down beautifully. It's understatedly sexy. Secondly I'd have to choose the Mix Print Maxi dress, perfect for working this summer's hippy boho chic trend.

What / where are your favourite places to go in East London? To drink:  Lounge Bohemia - a hidden gem which takes you back to vintage 1960's in Eastern Europe with cocktail masterpieces, perfect for a late night evening rendezvous. To shop: Paper Dress - a great  vintage boutique for clothing and accessories from 1900-80's. I spend many of my lunch breaks going through the rails!
What's on your ipod? Everything and anything! This week whilst on an inspiration trip for 18 AND East in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Delhi Ive been shuffling between Royksopp - Melody A.M., The Field - From Here We Go to Sublime and the classics from Fleetwood Mac . Perfect for on-the-go.
 Who's your style icon / s?
Currently I've been searching web archives for images of Grace Kelly - a classic alluring beauty. Chic, elegant and timeless. She epitomised style rather than fashion.  However I probably get the most ideas just from people-watching locally in East London; the girls here hold their own personal sense of style. I think every city and town has that bohemian and eclectic area which I find really inspiring.
