Down by the River

You can't move in the shops at the moment for fringing and Kaftans (We ourselves have the most beautiful dip dye fringing range hitting our website soon)and it's all inspired by the hippie decades of the 60s and 70s.  Why oh why oh why wasn't I alive then? My obsession with all things from this era has taken a turn for the worst today after seeing this video. I am literally obsessed with Crosby Stills Nash and Young and have been since I was about 13. Not only is the fashion amazing in this video, (I want Steve Still's fringed Jacket - You will be seeing me heavily fringed at Glastonbury and most of the summer festivals.) but 1969 was a time before health and safety reared it's ugly head and you could plug all your equipment in right on the edge of a massive swimming pool.

Rock on.

A bit of Market Lovin'

Ah so the Thursday market finally came around's an office countdown every week! We took ouselves down to one of our fave hang outs - Spitalfields Market to find some treasures.....

Love them!

For a weekend treat we headed to the pretty Portobello Road Market (it decided to rain so most of the market stalls had gone home). But we sure did still see some cool things....

Stoormtroopers in Stilettos

We were very excited to hear about a rare Queen exhibition very near to our office last week! ‘Stormtroopers in Stilettos’ is the first ever major Queen exhibition and took place in a huge warehouse space in the heart of London’s East End at Old Truman Brewery, just off Brick Lane.

The exhibition took a comprehensive look at the early part of Queen’s career, from before the band’s formation in 1971 when various band members were dreaming of success while studying astrophysics or running stalls next to Biba in Kensington Market, right up to their spectacular free gig for over 250,000 fans in Hyde Park in 1976. The themed rooms documenting Queen's journey to fame - are dedicated to the band's first albums and feature artwork, costumes made by British designer Zandra Rhodes and the band's instruments, plus a recreation of the studio in which Bohemian Rhapsody was recorded.
